Day 03 :

Drive to Chitkul

After breakfast, drive 185–195 km from Narkanda to Chitkul, passing through the breathtaking valleys and river gorges of Kinnaur. Gradually ascend from 8,285 ft to 11,320 ft, allowing natural acclimatization as the journey climbs deeper into the Himalayas.

Upon arrival, check in and relax. In the evening, take a peaceful walk along the Baspa River in Chitkul, known as India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.

Day 04 :

Chitkul → Kalpa → Yulla Khas

Start the morning by exploring Chitkul village and its beautiful surroundings.

Later drive towards Yulla Khas, with a scenic stop at Kalpa village, famous for its breathtaking views of the Kinnaur Kailash range and traditional Himalayan culture.

Spend some time exploring the village and enjoying the mountain scenery.

Continue the drive to Yulla Khas village, a quiet Himalayan settlement surrounded by alpine landscapes.

Check in at a local homestay, relax, and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 05 :

Trek to Base Camp (6 KM)

Start early in the morning from Yulla Khas village and begin the trek towards Base Camp.

The trail passes through beautiful alpine meadows, mountain streams, and open Himalayan landscapes offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Gradually trek around 6 km through peaceful high altitude terrain while enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic surroundings.

Overnight stay in tents at Base Camp under the starry Himalayan sky.
